Did you know that Bill Murray is the Honorary Advisor for Pontifical Comedy? It's his job to deliver jokes that encourage both laughter and charitable giving.

In honor of the pope's U.S. visit -- and joined by the likes of Conan O'Brien and Cardinal Timothy Dolan -- Murray is donating his joke to JokeWithThePope.org. It's a charitable campaign produced by Missio, an app created by the Pontifical Mission Societies in the United States.

The campaign is simple: "Donate" a joke to a cause you're passionate about, and Pope Francis could "pick" you to succeed Murray as his Honorary Advisor for Pontifical Comedy. Even better, the winning joke's selected cause will receive a $10,000 donation.
