Meet Billy, the cutest dog in town. Billy doesn't have the best past, but he sure is loving life now at home with his own personal hero, Adam.
Adam Parascandola found Billy, abused and alone, at a puppy mill in Jones County, N.C. Parascandola hopes his story will inspire others to donate to Humane Heroes, a cause that helps pups in need.
Parascandola rescued Billy from a rusted cage, where he was living with a half broken jaw, and it was friendship at first sight.
So this year at the holidays, make sure to give back to our canine friends. Holiday cheer isn't only for the two-legged.
