"Electric Love" singer Børns is giving us that retro vibe in his live performance of "Broke," thanks to a VHS camera that provided nostalgic footage from his recent set at El Rey Theater in Los Angeles for the "American Express Unstaged: Artists in Residence" concert.

"Artists in Residence" is an extension of the existing Unstaged concert series, which since 2010 has paired artists -- many of whom went on to have chart-topping albums -- with well-known directors to live stream concerts.
