Only in America New York is it considered a perfectly normal activity to wait hours in line for a food deemed "trendy."
Brooklynite Keizo Shimamoto debuted the "ramen burger" at the city's Smorgasburg food festival in early August. It's essentially just a burger on a bun made of ramen noodles -- and just like the preceding cronut, it's become a lusted-after novelty for food porn addicts everywhere.
In honor of the noodle-y sandwich, and the resulting craze it's spawned, Yahoo sent us a list of the most-searched burger joints* from the month of August. Check out the top eight below. (WARNING: Things are about to get steamy.)
