Along with her apparent endorsement for presidential candidate Ted Cruz, Caitlyn Jenner has just endorsed Tina Fey as her "favorite funny girl."

On Tuesday, Fey told Howard Stern how upset she was to miss out on meeting Caitlyn Jenner at Vanity Fair's post-Oscars party. “The best sighting I had was Caitlyn Jenner,” Fey said. “I was trying so hard to have a moment with her. I was trying to make eye contact...and she was not having me. Not on purpose, but she had just come in, and you could tell she was like, ‘I am the biggest deal in here. And who wants to know it.’ She looked fantastic.”

Too bad. But on Friday, Jenner took to Instagram to reveal that she's also upset she and Fey were two ships passing in the night.

"I can't believe I missed my favorite funny girl," Jenner wrote. "We have to get together."

Unfortunately for Jenner, Fey may never see the invitation to hang out, as she notoriously keeps away from social media.

Tina, sorry I missed you at the Vanity Fair party. I can't believe I missed my favorite funny girl. We have to get together. A photo posted by Caitlyn Jenner (@caitlynjenner) on Mar 4, 2016 at 11:29am PST

Here's hoping the two can get together sometime, though we would hate to see Jenner replace Fey bestie Amy Poehler.
