Wonder Woman flies an invisible plane. This isn't news to most of her fans -- but it did come as a surprise to Chris Pine, even though he has a starring role in 2017's Wonder Woman.

Pine seemed completely mystified during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! when the titular late night host brought up the DC Comics superhero's trademark ride. The plane's been associated with Wonder Woman for a long, long time; it even became friends with Steve Trevor (a.k.a. Pine's character) after it gained sentience in the comics.

On Kimmel, Pine did confirm the movie's World War I setting and refused to answer a question about Wonder Woman's golden lasso -- "I can't talk about specifics, man," he said -- but was genuinely confused to hear about the plane. Make of that what you will.
