Jurassic World has been in theaters for under 24 hours and the fan theories are already rolling in.

An astute Reddit user posted a comment pointing out that a certain raptor-hating character from the original Jurassic Park movie might be the same raptor-loving Chris Pratt character in Jurassic World.

If your memory needs a refresher, here's the snarky kid from the original movie that got taught a lesson from Dr. Alan Grant.

He was told he should show the raptors “a little bit of respect.”

Fast-forward 22 years after the events at Jurassic Park, and the adult character who Pratt plays says, "I don’t control the raptors; it’s a relationship. It’s based on mutual respect."

Coincidence? We don't think so.

Plus, the little kid from Jurassic Park looks about 13 or 14 and Jurassic World takes place 22 years later, which would make him in his mid-30s. Chris Pratt is 35.

We're not saying they're definitely the same person, but there are more similarities than differences.

Think about it.

Edit 6/17/2015: Whit Hertford, the actor that played the little boy, has since tweeted that his character and Pratt's are not, in fact, the same. We can always dream though.

for the record, @prattprattpratt is not playing a grown up version of my character in @JurrasicWorld. that role is mine, dammit!— Whit Hertford (@whithertford) June 11, 2015
