In an effort to become more of a social network for professionals, researchers and publishers, Congoo has added an invite feature to encourage you to bring more of your friends into the network. There's also the ability to add references, which increases the editorial value of your profile, and more connecting features with existing members, such as the ability to browse through profiles in order to find useful contacts. You can filter these by industry channel as well. With more information included in your profile, you'll also be able to offer up more information about yourself, find new ways to become an authority within the Congoo community, and find more about other users, too. The more active you are, and the more friends you make, the more prominent your own profile becomes, hopefully leading to more exposure for your own business/website.
