Now you can. Today CoTweet, formerly open to just a select group of companies, is announcing its public beta launch, which means you can have immediate access to the same business-centric tools for Twitter account and tweet management as the big brands.
You may remember from our previous post that CoTweet's web-based application is ideal for multiple account management for multiple users. Essentially it's the always on application for brands and businesses that need to ensure their Twitter accounts are being managed at all times.
You can currently connect up to five different Twitter accounts, and manage both your professional and personal Twitter presence in one place. So as an admin user, you can invite other people to co-manage a Twitter account with you, but you can also add your own personal Twitter account and toggle between all linked accounts.
The dashboard, which is modeled after an email inbox, lets account managers mark themselves as on duty, assign tweets as tasks (with notes) to other users, receive batch email alerts for replies and direct message when on duty, set your own cotag for each account (it's like a Twitter signature), and monitor the Twittersphere using the search pane. The search view also lets you select an individual Twitterer and view their profile information, Twitter stats, whether or not you follow them or vice versa, their replies and DMs to your account, and any CoTweet-specific notes that you or your team members have appended to that person's Twitter account.
With today's public launch news, CoTweet is also making bit.ly integration for each connected Twitter account available, and announcing that they've raised $1.1 million in venture funding.
