LONDON - Things just got more interesting for theme park lovers after the announcement that master of manipulation Derren Brown has created a new terrifying ride.

The Ghost Train ride will open at Thorpe Park in Spring 2016 after three years of work. Brown, known for his mind control television shows, warned that the ride, which contains 4D special effects and "large-scale illusions", is not for the faint hearted.

The first visual in the teaser video, shows a creepy Chucky-like doll, flashing lights and a hanging train.

The train has been modelled on an antique Victorian carriage built in 1903, according to a press release about the new attraction.

It seems like you'd have to be pretty crazy to try this ride. The director of the park, Mike Villas warns people shouldn't take the first visuals at "face value" as all is not what it seems.
