Digg's Chrome extension is pretty slick and lightweight. After installation, the Digg icon will appear to the right of Chrome's everything browser bar, the Omnibox, and display the total Digg count for the webpage you're on. Click the icon to view a miniature Digg window that shows you view and comment count for the page in question. It also gives you the option to share on Digg and on Facebook, Twitter or via e-mail.

As for Firefox users, the updated extension is now vastly improved to save space in your browser. There's even a keyboard shortcut (CMD+Shift+E) that gives you a quick way to show or hide the once cumbersome Digg toolbar. The freshly enhanced extension also supports additional notification controls, and quick social site sharing via the toolbar.
