In the wake of so many Internet feuds and celebrity breakups, it's easy to forget that real, true love exists out there. Here's an unlikely reminder -- in the form of two animal friends during a scary thunderstorm.
Many pet owners know that cats and dogs are often inconsolable during storms. Such was the case with a kitten belonging to Reddit user YungDemon.
The kitten, who had never experienced a storm before, became anxious when thunder rumbled and lightning struck near their California home. The cat "is new to the world," wrote YungDemon, "so this [was] its first rain and thunder ever!"
Fortunately, the cat had a friend around to help. When her human got home, he found Kitty tucked safely under the paw of his roommate's dog:
As if this could get any cuter, the dog seems a little scared too -- but she's selflessly putting her feline friend first.
Okay, yeah. Dog is definitely scared.
