Eminem's 'Survival' Video Shows Off 'Call of Duty: Ghosts' Footage

Masked graffiti artists draw skulls on Detroit buildings in Eminem's "Survival" music video, while gameplay footage from the upcoming Call of Duty: Ghosts is projected behind the black-clad rapper who hails from Motor City.

Game developer Infinity Ward previously used the hard-hitting song in its explosive 3-minute trailer (watch below) for Call of Duty: Ghosts in August. And the game's upgraded graphics have long been teased in prominent ways; for example, game publisher Activision flaunted them in a comparison video at the Xbox One unveiling in May.

The song, as you might guess, is about adapting, surviving and thriving. The video ends with Eminem staring at a house marked with the number 19946, a reference to the house the rapper grew up in and a nod to how far he's come since living there.

"Survival" will be part of Eminem's eighth studio album but won't be its first single, his record label Interscope reports. The Marshall Mathers LP 2 will arrive Nov. 5, the same day as Call of Duty: Ghosts' release.
