ESPN's On-Air Mystery Prompts Speculation

ESPN's "embrace debate" show First Take has gained a reputation for its commentators blowing hot air, but this takes things to a whole new level.

With host Cari Champion and pro bloviators Skip Bayless and Stephen A. Smith heading to commercial during Wednesday's episode, somebody -- as you'll see in the video above -- just lets one rip (or at least it certainly sounds that way). The video is now a mini sports Internet source of glee.

Many Internetters have pinned Bayless as the prime suspect, thanks to his squirmy pre-fart-noise posture. But could it have actually been Smith or Champion -- or perhaps someone off camera but somehow near a live mic? We'll probably never know, but Deadspin reports that ESPN edited the sound out of the episode when it re-aired later on Wednesday.
