The Weeknd's explicit new music video for "Earned It" from the Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack plays off of the plot's BDSM premise. It features scantily clad dancers, whips and the film's leading woman Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) tied up and hanging provocatively with hardly any clothes.
The video gives a brief taste of the sexual tension you'll see between the books-turned-film's billionaire sadist Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) and impressionable college graduate Anastasia.
E. L. James' popular book trilogy, which has sold more than 100 million copies in e-book and print worldwide, centers on the main characters' kinky relationship. Christian requires Anastasia to sign a contract as his next "Submissive," and the two routinely engage in bondage. The film debuts on Valentine's Day.
