LOS ANGELES -- The best movie trailer of the year has no friends. It's got family.
The Furious 7 “Family” trailer (above) from Universal Pictures/AV Squad’s took Best of Show Prize on Tuesday night at the 16th annual Golden Trailer Awards in Beverly Hills. The trailer also won Best Action.
Silicon Valley star T.J. Miller hosted the event at the Saban Theatre, where 20 of the 78 honors were announced and handed out live. Furious studio Universal Pictures (with Focus Features) won the most with 15 Golden Trailer Awards overall, while Warner Bros. (with HBO) won a total of 11 statues.
American Sniper and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 were the most-honored films, each winning in five separate categories.
