For this week's Mashable Vine Challenge, we want to see six-second videos creatively shot using only geometric shapes.

Think back to those wooden blocks you had when you were just a kid, or the drawing books that taught you how to sketch animals using rectangles and circles.

Simple shapes are all around us; they exist at home and in nature, as well as in architecture and many manmade objects. Take a look, and use what you see in your video, or create your own geometric design. We used origami paper to create an overlapping pattern of shapes and colors.

Share your Vine by Wednesday, Jan. 22 at 10 a.m. ET using the hashtag #GeoShapes for a chance to be featured in a follow-up post, and have your creation revined. When choosing videos to feature, we look for a combination of creativity and technical merit.
