Girls creator Lena Dunham took to Instagram to reveal the air date for the third season of the HBO series and says she uses Twitter as a point of reference.
The third season will premiere Jan. 12, Dunham announced on her Instagram. She said she turns to Twitter to gauge audience reactions and see what viewers want.
"I love watching an episode and just refreshing, refreshing, refreshing Twitter," Dunham said. "I really get to find out in real-time whether we're on to something."
