Ben Small is 26 and wants a job.

Small, who has Down syndrome, has experience working in catering and restaurant chains, but has found difficulty landing a longterm, paid position. His step-mother, Fiona Hodge, wanted to find a way to help and took her appeal to Twitter in hopes of landing him a job.

With hundreds of retweets, it was soon picked up by celebrities including comedians Jason Manford and Boothby Graffoe. Soon after, the hashtag #GiveBenAJob began trending.

Since then, Twitter users have given support to Small's cause, offering him suggestions of places where he could work. Small has already received two offers, although one is in California.

Ben has sent out his resumé, but he's still looking for a job. If you know somewhere where Ben could be perfect fit, email [email protected].
