When you think of the world five years from now, do you picture the masses wearing smart eyewear or Dick Tracy-style smart watches?
There's a chance that neither will catch on, but there's also the possibility that both will and the tech world will be divided by watch people and Glass people. In that case, where do you fall? The question is no longer academic. Google Glass could be on sale to the general public as early as this year, while Samsung has announced it has a smart watch in the works. (There are persistent rumors that Apple does, too, but the company has remained characteristically silent on the issue.)
