Maybe she's born with it; maybe it's Photoshop.

Things just got real when English actress Hayley Atwell, known for playing Agent Carter in the Marvel franchise, saw a magazine cover of herself that was overly Photoshopped.

When one fan tweeted a picture of the magazine at Atwell, saying she was beautiful, the actress responded and called out the image for being heavily edited.

Why are you so beautiful? @HayleyAtwell. pic.twitter.com/blx9bPHCRM— Evans (@ChrisEvansHeart) May 19, 2015

Atwell is stunning with or without the Photoshop, so it's refreshing to see an actress own up to the smoke and mirrors that present unrealistic beauty ideals to the public.

Let's hope that Agent Carter's recent move to LA means she'll be using her powers to fight Hollywood's stereotypes, alongside those other bad guys.
