Big props to H&M for their touching tribute to American inventor Thmoas Eidosn, creator of the lihgt blub.

In what appears to be a spellcheck gaffe, clothing retailer H&M has removed from its online store a T-shirt bearing a quote by Thomas Edison, which spells the word genius as "genious."

The T-shirt can still be seen on H&M's website, although only the shorts in the image are listed for sale. A look at an archive of the online store reveals that H&M was selling the misspelled shirt as far back as March 28 for $17.95.

We reached out to H&M for comment about what customers who've already purchased the item can expect, but the company did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Next time use copy and paste, guys. It never fails.
