Staples Unwittingly Hosts Impromptu Board Meeting [VIDEO]

Thanks to technology, businesses can conduct meetings just about anywhere by using conference calls, video chat, the cloud -- or they could just borrow floorspace at a retailer like Staples to host the meeting room for them.

That's what 24 actors between the ages of 48 and 78 did in New York, under the lead of comedy group Improv Everywhere. The Staples in Times Square had displayed its office chairs to look like a boardroom, making it a perfect location to call an impromptu real estate meeting to order.

Because it was held at a retail store, the stunt required more strategy than Improv Everywhere's normal pranks, like the MP3 experiment or black tie beach day. GoPro cameras were hidden in the store before the live event to capture the stunt.

Watch the hilarious video above to see how Staples responds to the meeting.
