Sharing photos with friends and family just got easier thanks to iOS 6. You now have the ability to push photos directly to other iOS devices via Shared Photo Streams.
This new feature takes away the need to email and message photos, but it does require that both devices are running iOS 6.
If you'd like to create a Shared Photo Stream, watch the video or follow the steps below:
Step 1: Open the Photos app on your device, then tap on the “Photo Stream” tab at the bottom of the screen.
Step 2: Next, tap on the plus sign in the top left corner. A window will appear allowing you to enter information about your new Shared Photo Stream. Enter the email addresses of those you'd like to share this Photo Stream with, then create a name for it. You'll also have an option to make this Photo Stream available to the public on iCloud.com, but this is completely optional.
Step 3: Now that you've set up your Shared Photo Stream, you can begin adding photos to it. Open on the Shared Photo Stream you've created and tap the “Edit” button in the top right corner, then tap on “Add” at the bottom of the screen. Select the photos you'd like to add from your device and tap on “Done” in the top right corner.
Alternatively, you can add photos by tapping the “Edit” button in the top right corner of an album or the Camera Roll, select your photos, and then press the “Share” button at the bottom. After you've done that, select “Photo Stream” and choose the stream you've created.
