If you were frantically trying to upgrade your iPhone or iPad to iOS 7 on Wednesday, you weren't alone. Researchers estimate the adoption rate so far is as high as 28%.
That's the figure from Mixpanel, which bases its figures on more than 1,000 apps. As Cult of Mac noted, that's already much higher than that of Jellybean, Android's latest upgrade.

Meanwhile, Fiksu, which claims to have access to 99% of iOS traffic, pegged the iOS 7 adoption figure at 17.7% on Thursday morning.

Comparatively, iOS 6 hit an adoption rate of 25% to 35% after 48 hours last September. iOS 5 took 21 days to hit 21%.
