James Brown Turns 'Game of Thrones' Into a Man's World

In 1966, James Brown sang, "This is a man's world, but it wouldn't be nothing, nothing, without a woman or a girl." And with that song, James might as well have been predicting the entire plot of Game of Thrones.

Looks like, even back then, Brown knew that in Westeros the boys all walk around with swagger and swords, but it's the females who lead the show. After all, Arya Stark is the best swordsman (ahem, swordsperson) we've seen, no one can down a drink better than Cersei Lannister, and has anyone seen a dude eat a horse's heart? No, that's all left up to the Mother (not Father) of Dragons.

Which is probably why this epic mashup between Brown's song and the Game of Thrones theme song is so perfectly on point. Preach it to us, James.
