Jangl, the VoIP service that's known for its integration with existing social networks, has finally been officially launched with Fubar, the "Facebook for grownups." We first caught wind of Jangl's partnership with Fubar earlier this summer, when the VoIP service announced four new partners, bringing its total reach to over 20 million users across networks.
Fubar is supposed to be like an online bar where people can meet and show interest by sending someone a complimentary drink. As Fubar's investors include James Hong and Jim Young, co-founders of HOTorNOT, it's easy to see how Fubar works and why the protection of personal data is important for users and the network. With the integration of Jangl, users can now call each other as well, while still protecting their personal identity and information.
