Two great women fighting for transgender rights have finally met in person.
Orange is the New Black star Laverne Cox has been a trailblazer in the transgender community. She stars on a hit Netflix show, the first transgender celebrity with a figure at Madame Tussaud's and always voices support for other transgender people who live in the public eye -- especially Caitlyn Jenner.
The actress met up with Jenner, who just accepted ESPY's Arthur Ashe Courage Award, at an advanced screening of Jenner's E! documentary I Am Cait.

Cox also met up with other transgender women who were invited to the screening, including actress Candis Cayne, who was the first transgender actress to get a major role as a transgender person on the television show Dirty Sexy Money.
"This actress paved the way for me and so many others," Cox wrote about Cayte on Instagram.
