Just when we thought Samsung pushed the limits with its $120,000 television, LG tossed its hat in the pricey-TV ring with an equally expensive set.

First unveiled at the International CES earlier this year, the 105-inch 4K television costs $117,000, Ken Hong, LG's global communications director, told Mashable. For that much money, viewers get a screen with over 11 million pixels, a 21:9 aspect ratio and a large helping of buyers' remorse.

"The vision behind LG’s 105-inch ... TV was to bring the movie theater into the living room," In-kyu Lee, senior vice-president and head of the TV Division at LG, said in a statement. "This product pushes the envelope in home entertainment innovation and demonstrates what is possible when you bring today’s most advanced TV technologies together."

The curved Ultra HD TV is currently only available for pre-order in South Korea, but will arrive in other markets at a later date. LG did not specify prices or release dates for other areas.

The company is no stranger to producing ridiculously expensive TVs. Earlier this year, it released an older model of the 4K with a $70,000 price tag.
