Classic novels and the Thanksgiving dish turducken have inspired a new hashtag -- #LiteraryTurducken -- which has caught the attention of Twitter's CEO, book lovers and a handful of publishers.
Publishing company Doubleday plopped #LiteraryTurducken into a tweet Tuesday, asking followers to combine "not one, not two, but three classic works into one, in the spirit of the turkey+duck+chicken creole classic.”
The hashtag then reached Twitter CEO Dick Costolo hours after #LiteraryTurducken heated up (see tweet below). Other publishing companies joined the fun, too. Flip through the gallery to see their submissions.
