Owners of the iPod nano can now slap an old-school book cover on their miniature devices. Futuristic gadgets are popular, but traditional book aesthetics still rule. Even the latest Microsoft Surface tablet's keyboard case was made to look and feel like a book.

Pad & Quill makes homemade book covers for iPhones, iPods and Kindle ereaders. The company decided to make a tiny version for the iPod nano.

At the end of April, Pad & Quill successfully raised $7,211 on Kickstarter to mass produce the Littlest Black Book line. Now, these handmade leather-bound books are available for $34.99.
