As the winter weather takes a turn for the worse, cuddling up inside and devouring a good book is one of the best things you can do. Two weeks ago, we announced our next MashableReads book club selection The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins, a page-turning thriller a lá the popular best-seller Gone Girl. In fact, it is the first debut novel to become an instant New York Times bestseller in a decade -- the last book was The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova. Additionally, the film rights have already been acquired by DreamWorks.

For those who missed the announcement, Hawkins will be attending the MashableReads Meetup at Mashable HQ to discuss her book with the community.

But what would a good book discussion be without sharing some of your favorite food? Lucky for you, we've got you covered. In addition to the essentials (coffee and wine), Mashable is partnering with Mrs. T’s Pierogies this month to bring some delicious finger food to the get-together. We'll be serving nacho pierogies, buffalo pierogies and feta & spinach pierogies to enjoy while you and your fellow book-lovers savor the occasion. So be sure to join in!

If you haven't started the book yet, you can check out a sample here to whet your appetite:
