Launching on October 1st, and created by MashupAwards.com, mashup enthusiasts have a whole new competition to start on in MashupChallenge.com.
There are several angles to keep the competition fresh and exciting. First up is the quarterly nature of the game with everything resetting at the beginning of each quarter. The big twist comes in the form that the developers will receive a random set of 5 APIs from the site's pool. This should help to ensure some fresh and unique ideas coming out of the competition.
