Monopoly, the iconic board game now produced by toy company Hasbro, is celebrating its 80th anniversary. Monopoly was first published in 1935 by Parker Brothers, which is now a subsidiary of Hasbro.To date, more than 275 million board games have been sold around the world, according to Monopoly. It is available in 111 countries and 43 languages.
