Last week we started a competition to find the most underrated startup/website - the best suggestion would win a $700 ticket to the Under The Radar | Mobility Conference on November 15th at Microsoft’s Mountain View, CA campus. We've now chosen a winner. However, note that comments on that post are not closed, and we're still watching that thread to find interesting sites that we hadn't spotted before - go visit to add your suggestion.
Congratulations to winner Dustin Coates for his comment entry on UShip. "They aren't flashy, but they're well funded and they've got a good deal of volume going across every day. Plus, the rarest of things in the startup area: a business plan. " The company, which has been around for years, is pushing the definition of a startup a little, but continues to trundle along in relative obscurity after a funding round from Benchmark about a year ago.
