UPDATED (4:55 p.m. ET) with detail that Pugh has been arrested.

You might get a second chance in life, but you'll never get a second chance at a mugshot.

Donald "Chimp" Pugh is currently wanted by the Lima, Ohio department, after being arrested for a DUI then failing to appear at trial. He's also person of interest in other crimes, including arson and vandalism.

But selfie justice seems to mean more to Pugh than social justice. Disappointed in the mugshot circulated by Lima police, he did what no one else in his situation would do: He took a sexy selfie of himself and sent it in as a replacement.

The police were not impressed.

(function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = "//connect.facebook.net/en_US/sdk.js#xfbml=1&version=v2.3"; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs);}(document, 'script', 'facebook-jssdk'));This photo was sent to us by Mr. Pugh himself. We thank him for being helpful, but now we would appreciate it if he would come speak to us at the LPD about his charges.Posted by Lima Police Department on Wednesday, January 6, 2016

"He's drawing more attention to himself, which is going to make it easier for us to locate him, because the more attention that this post garners, the more people are going to see it, the more tips are going to come in about this guy," Lieutenant Andy Green told The Daily Dot.

Pugh respectfully disagreed.

“Man, they just did me wrong. They put a picture that made me look like I was a Thundercat or something,” Pugh told local radio station 104.9.

Here is the original mugshot:

(function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = "//connect.facebook.net/en_US/sdk.js#xfbml=1&version=v2.3"; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs);}(document, 'script', 'facebook-jssdk'));Posted by Lima Police Department on Wednesday, January 6, 2016

Pugh recently told the Lima police he was no longer in the state, according to The Daily Dot.

Still, the law eventually caught up with him. On Tuesday afternoon, Lima PD Lieutenant Andy Green posted on Twitter that Pugh had been apprehended in Florida.

.@MaxDPD He was just arrested in Florida. #Boom— Lt. Andy Green (@LPDagreen) January 12, 2016

So he'll get yet another chance to get that mugshot right.
