SINGAPORE -- We're about to enter a glorious four-day weekend celebration for Singapore's 50th birthday, and one nail art studio is rocking out with a set of Singapore-themed nail art.
School of Nail Art created 10 different nail designs carrying the country's iconic landmarks, including the Marina Bay Sands, the Merlion national mascot and Changi Airport. The designs also include the ERP (electronic road pricing) road toll gantries that are typically seen on busier downtown streets in the city, if that's your jam.
Here's another set of commemorative nails by design studio Pink Room International Nail Academy, a set just as patriotic -- though perhaps more practical.
And if you're sick of all the SG50 propaganda, why not go back to basics with Lee Kuan Yew nail art?
The schools were selected for the nail art project by a local startup called Vanitee, which lists beauty vendors such as nail salons and hair stylists, and allows users to rate and book appointments with the outlets.
