NBC has agreed to give John Kasich, Mike Huckabee, Lindsey Graham and James Gilmore airtime to compensate for Donald Trump's appearance on Saturday Night Live.

Trump's appearance triggered a rule that requires broadcast networks like NBC to provide equal opportunities to presidential candidates. Because SNL is not a news or current events show, candidates were able to petition NBC to receive comparable airtime.

[seealso slug=http://sale-online.click/2015/11/04/donald-trump-snl-fcc/%5D%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDespite hosting the show, Trump appeared on air for only 12 minutes. The equal opportunity rule means that each candidate will get 12 minutes.

It will be up to the candidates to decide what they want to put on those affiliates during their allotted broadcast time.
