The trailer for Netflix's next original documentary has some harrowing -- but important -- images.
Winter on Fire: Ukraine's Fight for Freedom chronicles a 93-day period in 2013 and 2014 that saw a civil rights movement morph into a millions-strong revolution and civil unrest.
It features interviews with protestors, on-the-ground footage, and a "grand scale" look at the violent conflict, according to Netflix.
The film, directed by Evgeny Afineevsky, premieres Oct. 9.
