BMW's much-hyped i8 Spyder may not be at the 2012 New York International Auto Show after all, but that doesn't mean the event isn't bursting at the seams with an impressive roster of snazzy new cars bristling with high-tech features.
From the ultra-sleek, super fast SRT Viper sports car, to the Mercedes-Benz G-Class fuel-efficient SUV with a "magic sky" sun roof -- to even a flying car -- manufacturers pulled out all the stops with their latest designs during a Tuesday press preview.
The New York Auto Show will be open to the public from April 6 until April 15.
