Watch NFL Player Robert Gill Run 25 mph on Gym Treadmill

Robert Gill, the undrafted rookie of the Arizona Cardinals, has a need for speed.

In the video above, while working out with his teammates, Gill stands on the edge of a treadmill going approximately 25 miles per hour. After mentally preparing himself, Gill hops on and runs for eight seconds -- although watching him, it feels like much longer.

To give that some perspective: The treadmill's speed was only 2 mph behind Olympic sprinter Usain Bolt's record speed of 27 mph, which he hit during the 2008 Olympics.

After one year of playing football in high school, Gill didn't play in college. He played for the Arena Football League for the past five years after several failed attempts at securing a spot on a NFL team.

But the Arizona Cardinals took a chance on the wide receiver. Now, at 29, he is the oldest rookie in the NFL.
