LONDON -- Another gaunt and emaciated mannequin has been seen standing sentry in a high street store.

Captured on Twitter by writer Rhiannon Cosslett, the thin-legged model was seen wearing black tights and a colourful coat in a window of retailers Oasis.

"This is disgusting, damaging and irresponsible," Cosslett wrote, "not to mention really weird."

Others agreed. "FFS is this a joke? Sticks as legs???" one wrote.

"Horrendous," another said. "It doesn't even make the clothes look good," a third decided.

@ms_peaceweaver @rhiannonlucyc @OasisFashion I don't get it- it doesn't even make the clothes look good...— Rebecca Cooney (@RebeccaKCooney) October 20, 2015

@rhiannonlucyc @OasisFashion WTF? Makes my 7 & half stone loss seem not enough! Now it's making me feel that I'm still morbidly obese!— KayleighWhite (@xxfluffywhitexx) October 21, 2015

@rhiannonlucyc @VagendaMagazine @OasisFashion My 16 y/o daughter just asked "How does it stand?". Quite. Reprehensible.— Em Jeff (@EmBlueJay) October 20, 2015

Several other high street stores have come under fire for using unrealistic models in their windows.

In October last year, Topshop was in the spotlight for using a mannequin with long and skinny legs. The shop pulled another slim model from branches this summer after it was called out on Facebook. Primark and La Perla have also come under scrutiny for using mannequins with visible ribs.
