Someone blew through 'Ocarina of Time' with only a real Ocarina

The ocarina isn't a great instrument even in the best of times. The oval-shaped flute is basically a stylized recorder. Even when gussied up in its starring role for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, you can still make some ear-splitting music capable of upsetting all the dogs in the area.

So imagine the torture of playing the entirety of Ocarina of Time with only those squeaky notes.

That's exactly what obvious sadomasochist Monotone Tim tried, when he modified the instrument to work as a game controller. He then streamed the efforts onto Twitch and shared them on YouTube.

While you might want to turn the volume down a bit, Tim triumph over the game's second boss, King Dodongo, is commendable. You can also watch his whole six-hour playthrough, starting with the taxing process of naming the character, below.
