Robert Förstemann, German track cyclist and proud owner of World Championship gold and Olympic bronze medals, generates a lot of power with his monstrous 29-inch thighs. But can he power a 700W toaster long enough to toast a slice of bread?

A video created by a team from the Stockholm Academy of Dramatic Arts and posted on YouTube Wednesday answers that question with a resounding yes, though the struggle definitely wasn't easy. After completing the challenge, during which he generated 0.021 kWh of power, Förstemann has to lie down on the floor to recover.

The experiment, according to the video's description, seeks to find how much energy humans consume compared to the amount of energy a single person can generate.
