Photobucket, one of the largest image hosting and sharing services on the Web, and part of the growing Fox Interactive Media business (home to social network giant MySpace), has announced its collaboration with FotoFlexer. The partnership will integrate FotoFlexer’s photo-editing software into the hosting service, and will undoubtedly prove to be the closest competition to the Flickr-Picnik duo to come about since...well...since Flickr-Picnik was first announced, really.[img src="http://sale-online.click/wp-content/uploads/2008/03/photobucket.PNG" caption="" credit="" alt="photobucket"]

Prior to this venture, Photobucket users would be required to export images to FotoFlexer to adjust their GIFs and JPEGs and other various files. But now they will be allowed to access editing features from within the hosting service itself. Which, if you’re a sensible individual and prefer to maintain as few online accounts as possible, is a wonderful thing. Convenience equals supreme goodness.

Message to any and all Photobucket fans: mark your calendars. FotoFlexer is going to be working with your favorite host tomorrow, Thursday March 6, a lot more closely than the two companies do today.
