Online photo editing site, Picnik has left beta and has officially entered the world of a full-fledged online utility site. And not only that, but they brought some new features along with them.

You were already able to open pictures from your accounts on Flickr, Picasa, and Facebook, but now the same goes for Photobucket. You can get your photos from, and save them to, the popular photo hosting site with just the click of a button. They have also added several new effects, the most exciting of which is probably Effects Painting. You can now apply effects to just a portion of an image, reverse it, and so on to make some truly striking images. You will also find some new shape and touch-up tools, as well as a new selection of frames for your photos.

While all of this is free to use, if you want a little bit broader selection of tools and fonts, you can subscribe to their premium service for $24.95 a year. Not bad for an "access anywhere" photo editor if you ask me. You can try out the premium package for free this week only.
