Piczo is partnering up with the Penguin Group for their "My Penguin" promotion.
The promo includes a series of six classic books as chosen by some popular teen bands, like Razorlight and Ryan Adams. The books will be published by Penguin with blank covers, so anyone can draw to create their own book covers. The bands have made their own personalized book covers for the books they've chosen as well. Where's Piczo fit in? Well, there's a contest involved here. So it will be providing tools for users to create and submit designs for the bands to choose the winning design.
The books used in this promotion are Dracula, Alice in Wonderland, Animal Farm, the Great Gatsby, Steppenwolf and Le Grand Meaulnes. The winner will get sets of the MyPenguin books, and copies of all the bands' latest albums. Piczo will also be holding a Q&A section where Piczo members can send questions to band members.
