It was definitely not love at first sight between this pug and his new playtime companion.
Twitter user Adeline Garrett recently posted a photo of the toy her mother purchased for their pug, Pippin. The toy was a small plastic giraffe.

Cute, right?
WRONG.
Adeline posted a picture of Pippin's face upon seeing his new toy, and it is clear that he was utterly horrified.
"My mom got Pippin this new giraffe toy and he's terrified of it I can't breathe," Garrett tweeted.
However, Garrett told Huffington Post that Pippin has actually warmed up to the toy since their initial meeting, and that there's no longer any bad blood between them.
Thank goodness, because there's no reason why two such adorable creatures shouldn't be the best of friends.
