Purina's third annual Better With Pets Summit explored the ways in which people and pets improve each other's lives.
Panel discussions and keynote speeches -- covering everything from pet-centric architecture to cat cafés to the benefits of raising kids and pets together -- ran the gamut of pets' and humans' emotional wellness. And everyone learned a lot.
But after school, you know it's time to play.
The summit's experiential section featured touchscreen displays, a nutrition and cognition installation and a thermal imaging camera designed to capture a pet's stress levels.
There were also playgrounds: one cat-opia for feline friends and one "play lab," where wearable technology monitored dogs' activity as they ran and jumped.
