While Deadpool may be something of an antihero, he did something undeniably heroic on Friday.

Ryan Reynolds donned his Deadpool attire and visited Tony Acevedo, a little boy battling Hodgkin's disease, for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Tony got the chance to try on Deadpool's mask and gloves, which certainly brought out the little superhero's spunky side. Reynolds described on Instragram what it was like to meet such a powerhouse little kid:

"Tony Acevedo asked Make A Wish Foundation if he could meet Deadpool. I wasn't expecting him to sneak the mask, put on the gloves, smile... and then beat Deadpool about the face, arms and jugular with blazing speed," Reynolds wrote.

"Tony's next fight is with Hodgkin's Disease. Hodgkin's Disease best be wearing its brown pants."
